We are still here...

A lot can happen over the course of three months time. (And I am still scratching my head because I cannot believe it has been three months since my last blog post!).

So, here are the highlights...

1. Micah is now 7 1/2 months old! Wow. It feels like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital. His smile can light up a room, and his laughter will make your heart melt. He has now learned to sit up on his own, which dramatically changes playtime. His favorite foods are pears, squash, and sweet potatoes (and that little taste of sugar icing daddy passed along). Mommy is a natural, and is doing an incredible job at home with little Micah. I am so blessed to have Michelle as a wife, and for Micah to have her as a mommy.

2. On January 2nd I (Kyle) was laid off from NSB. For the greater part of December I used accumulated vacation time, and then spent all of January doing freelance design work. It was definitely nice spending nearly two months at home with Mommy and Micah!

3. On January 26th I joined the staff at Full Life Assembly of God as their Administrator. It is incredible to wake up in the morning and look forward to my new role, and I serve with an incredible staff. A few of my responsibilities are overseeing our Fusion Life Groups, Design, Development, and IT among other things.

4. Race season is just around the corner! We will again be with the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour this year, and are excited to again get to minister with this community. We will be racing Bristol, Martinsville, Bowman Gray, Caraway, Myrtle Beach, and Lanier just to name a few.

5. I have been partnering with the minsitry of a good friend of mine, Chet McDoniel. Check out what he has going on, it is AMAZING! www.chetmcdoniel.com (Be sure to buy a copy of his book!)

That hardly scratches the surface of the amazing provisions and changes that we have experienced over the past several months. But it does give you a glimpse into the journey we are on!

Hopefully it isn't another three months before you hear from us again.
